Fast charging station for electric vehicles, using solar panels and energy from renewable origin, in the town of La Granja (Segovia, Spain).
Project description:
Fast charging Solar stations for electric vehicles is a new concept implemented by the company ELECTROLINERAS SOSTENIBLES (EESS) that will help the development of electric vehicles as the transport of the future in Spain.
This first Solar Charging Station, located beside the Parador Nacional de La Granja , will form part of a network of 7 fast charging stations that will be implemented in strategic points in the region of Segovia.
Each solar station has been designed by INGEWORLD engineering and is composed initially of 90 solar panels ATERSA of 320 Wp each, 1 inverter INGETEAM of 30 kW and 2 equipments of fast charging EFACEC.
The vehicles will be directly charged by the solar panels when they produce electricity and by 100% certified renewable energy during the rest of the time (at night or in case of bad weather conditions).
EESS also sells electric vehicles to customers that can recharge for free in any of the EESS charging stations during 5 years.
Any other electric vehicle will be able to use the charging station for a competitive fee.
EESS has the necessary authorization from the City Council of the Real Sitio de San Ildefonso to carry out its activity.
